He received his doctorate from Russia at the FU in 1997 with a thesis on Johann Busch, the plant trader and court gardener Katharinas II, from Russia. 1996-1998 he was employed at the Institute for Green Planning and Garden Architecture at the University of Hanover as a research assistant, from 1998-2014 he was the owner of Professorship at the Neubrandenburg University of Applied Sciences.<\/p><p>He has published publications on the history of gardens, such as recently with Christoph Haase, The Gardens of Peter Joseph Lenn\u00e9s in Today's Poland. A search for traces beyond Oder and Neisse, Wettin-L\u00f6bej\u00fcn 2016.
