Michael Schwarze-Rodrian is a German landscape planner who served until 2020 as Director of the Department European and Regional Networks Ruhr and EU Representative of the Regional Association Ruhr (RVR).He had moderated local and regional networks for a sustainable Ruhr Region for more than three decades. 11 big cities and 4 districts form the agglomeration Ruhr with 5 million inhabitants. Michael Schwarze-Rodrian planned and moderated the Emscher Landscape Park and developed an advanced and regional understanding of Green Infrastructures and Nature Based Solutions in the last 10 years. He has a great experience with integrated strategies, project management, regional, inter-local and local moderation and is an internationally invited speaker for sustainable urban and regional development.
